First Half

Jonathan Mayer

Jonathan began his musical training at the early age of 5 with Violin, Piano & Composition. He started his initial training under the western sitarist Clem Alford who was a disciple of Sachindra Nath Saha, Senia Gharana (Tradition)

Second Half

Nitin Amin

A progressive flautist from Pune India, in the genre of Hindustani or North Indian Classical Music. He plays the Gayaki( Vocal) style, and has developed his own design of the Bamboo flute, which allows him to explore the vocal style to the fullest extent. His pursuit is guided by one of the foremost vocalists of India, Smt. Padma Talwalkar, who helped him transcend the limitations of the flute.

Manjeet Singh Rasiya

Described as “one of the most exciting and technically brilliant musicians in the British Asian scene”, Manjeet Singh Rasiya is widely recognised as one of the UK’s finest Indian percussionists. He has worked, recorded & toured with renowned musicians from India, as well as taking part in collaborative work on the World Music stage.
